About Us

At African Child Foundation, we are a group of energetic and passionate changemakers, who believe in using our innate creativity to impact on our society in order to engender a better future for the youth and women who have borne the brunt for most of the socio-economic ills on the continent.

Our Foundation works with youth and women groups in our communities to identify opportunities for education, training and job creation as a means of accelerating positive change in historically disadvantage communities.

We are flexible, agile and dynamic and are determined to uplift the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in South Africa’s unequal society. As we grow, we aim to widen our impact to other parts of the continent working with organized and informal youth & women affiliates.

Our aim is to provide exciting programmes that will engage historically disadvantaged communities to actively participate in the social economy in order to be more educated and empowered.

We have a number of strategic programmes that will enable education through arts and culture, job creation through social relief programmes that will have a direct impact on the lives of communities, and social cohesion in the areas of youth and women upliftment.

Vision

To improve the lives of previously disadvantaged communities by creating skills development programmes, educational programmes
and sustainable job opportunities.

Mission

To provide social, educational and economic empowerment to women and the youth.
